It's a very funny scene that a person who was dressed in raps waved one banknote which worthed one million pound. The author Mark Twain write about this kind of funny and stupid circumstances which makes people laugh. If you give a clever and honest person who had struggling in poverty with a large denomination bank note, will he able to live in London? How will he do? Two brothers made a bet, then they quickly bought the only million bank note can used from a bank and sent it to Henry, the person they chose. However the price of the bank note was to high that nobody have enough change to pay back, people considered Henry is just a strange millionaire and sell goods to him freely. During the day, Henry thought he may be in a daydream, but at night, he can hardly fall asleep because he knew the note wasn't his. However, he became famous by his money, then he can take part in the dinner party with the most honorable people. In the party, Henry met his girl Pocia. She became his wife at last. Dramatically, he realized that she is one of the brothers' daughter. Henry finally earned 200 thousand by his bill. This famous, dramatically bill were hanged on the most holy place at home on the wedding day for Henry and Pocia.

The most funny and amusing part of the story is the description of people those who despised him before seeing the bill and what they seemed after knowing about the bill. These parts were put in my Chinese Book when I was in grade four. That is one of the reasons why I love the story so much.

When I read about Mark Twain's articles, I remember a word "embarrassed". Mark Twain stire people and some thing happened. People in his stories are always " embarrassed". They may be attracted by money and fame, stupid and ignorant. Most of the you must laugh at those lifelike people!

It was a very hilarious scene that a person dressed in rags waved one banknote of one million pound. The author Mark Twain wrote about this kind of funny and witty circumstances which make people laugh. If you give a clever and honest person who had strugged in poverty with a large bank note, will he be able to survive in London? How will he do it while he could not explain this bill is his? Henry Adams found himself poor and penniless in London after boating accident swept him overboard. Pitying him, two brothers give him an envelope, and it turns out inside was a million pound bank note. They made a bet. Brother B believed that the possession of this banknote, or symbol of wealth, would allow him to survive for a month. In the envelope, the brothers made clear that a bet was made on Henry, and if he helped them complete the bet, he would win a job. However, brother A believed the bank note will be useless because he will not be able to exchange the note for cash. For example, he realized that he would nof be able to easily exchange it without being questioned how he received the note, leading to a potential arrest due to theft. In fact, the price of the bank note was too high that nobody had enough change to pay it back. When he brings the million pound bank note to the restaurant, the manager feels sorry for him because he has no change and gives him the meal for free. Finally, in an act of desperation, he decided to see if he can use the note to exchange his rags for a cheap suit. When he pulls out the million pound note to pay, the store manager gives him the entire wardrobe on credit. People considered Henry just a strange millionaire and sold goods to him freely. During the day, Henry thought he might be in a daydream. At night, he could hardly fall asleep because he knew the note wasn't his. Ultimately, he becomes a celebrity in London as the "vest pocket million-pounder". At the party, Henry met a girl named Pocia. At the end of the story, she became his wife at last. Dramatically, he also realized that she is one of the brothers' daughter. Finally, Henry earned 200 thousand through his investments. This famous, dramatical bill were hung on the most holy place at home on the Henry and Pocia's wedding day.

The most funny and amusing part of the story is the description of people who looked down him before seeing the bill and how they behave after knowing about the bill. It seems as though people's personality and behavior around him changed simply because of the presence of wealth, which is what Brother B bet. These parts were included in my Chinese text when I was in fourth grade. That is one of the reasons why I love the story so much.

When I read about Mark Twain's stories, I always think about a word "embarrassed". Mark Twain critiques people and some clever and eccentric thing happened. People in his stories are always " embarrassed". They may be attracted by money and fame, but at the end of the day, stupid and igno.rant. For example, the owner of the restaurant and stores are embarrassed because they were rude to Henry before seeing the banknote. You must laugh at those lifelike people!

Today Chassie and I discussed her book analysis on Mark Twain's short story, One Million Pound Bank Note. While her essay was nearly free of grammatical errors, we mainly worked on including more details about the actual story, including the character progression, the character's interactions with other characters in the book, and the narrative arc. Don't be afraid to include as many details as possible, as it will definitely engage your audience and keep them in the loop about the story progression. We also worked on the transitions between different sentences to improve the fluidity of the entire essay and show the movement of Mark Twain's story. Great job!
