客路青山外，行舟綠水前。

潮平兩岸闊，風(fēng)正一帆懸。

海日生殘夜，江春入舊年。

鄉(xiāng)書何處達(dá)？歸雁洛陽(yáng)邊。

At the Beigu Mountain

Leaving behind one hill after another,

My boat ploughs its way through water green.

The tide is in and the river has grown wider.

The sail hangs straight amid the soft breeze.

Spring has stolen in before the old year is out.

Night ends, and a new sun emerges from the sea.

Oh, wild geese on your homeward journey!

Pass this letter to Luoyang, my hometown, please.
